Ibiza has established itself as one of the most important charter destinations in the world. Every summer, hundreds of luxury vessels operate from its marinas, creating constant demand for qualified crew. On Yemplea, job offers in Ibiza multiply between March and August.

Season and hiring peaks
The charter season in Ibiza runs from May to October, with peak activity in July and August. Vessel preparation starts in March-April, which is when most hiring happens.
Off-season (November-February), activity drops dramatically, although there is employment in maintenance and winter preparation.
Most in-demand positions
- Skipper: Minimum PPER, charter experience, English B2+
- Deckhand: First Mate certificate or demonstrable experience
- Stewardess: Basic STCW, customer service, languages
- Onboard Chef: Mediterranean cuisine, adapting to small spaces
