*SKIPPER — Private 48ft Sailing Catamaran (Mediterranean)* We are looking for an experienced Skipper to join the crew of a private 48-foot sailing catamaran for the 2026 Mediterranean season. The boat is for personal family use (not charter), with a stronger presence around the Balearic Islands and an offshore passage to Sardinia. Vessel and operation 48-foot sailing catamaran Private family use — no charter pressure Cruising area: Balearic Islands, Sardinia, South of France Crew: Skipper + Hostess (with occasional Deckhand support for delivery passages) *Period* June — half month (start of season) July and August — full operation (peak) Possible year-round continuity for the right candidate (winter engagement to be agreed) *Profile* Experienced sailing-catamaran skipper, calm and discreet, comfortable handling a 45–55 ft catamaran in busy Mediterranean ports, anchorages, and offshore passages (including a Menorca–Sardinia leg, ~200 nm). Hands-on with day-to-day maintenance — engines, rigging, electronics — without expecting shore support. *Required:* RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Sail (commercially endorsed) — or recognised equivalent STCW Basic Safety Training (valid) ENG1 or equivalent medical certificate (valid) VHF/SRC Radio Operator licence Minimum 3 seasons as skipper on sailing catamarans 45–55 ft Documented offshore experience Working English; Spanish a strong plus Clean references from prior owners or captains *Highly valued:* Yachtmaster Ocean Engineering / mechanical background Previous experience on Excess, Lagoon, Bali or Fountaine Pajot platforms Track record on private (non-charter) operations *What we offer* Salary package aligned with experience, certifications and profile Accommodation and full board included while embarked Travel arrangements discussed individually Calm, family environment — no charter pressure Strong continuity prospect: September–October to be agreed, with possible winter engagement (year-round potential) *Applic
